When you choose to sponsor a child through Adera’s Family Sponsorship or Education Sponsorship Program, you give the gift of security—both today and tomorrow.
Your support means a mother can work without fear. A child learns to read and write, and most importantly, learns that their hope is in the Lord.
Each day begins in the daycare courtyard with songs, a Bible story, and prayer. One child is chosen to lead, standing on a chair as their peers bow their heads.
These are not short, routine prayers—they are bold requests for wisdom, protection, love, and health.

During a recent trip to Ethiopia, Adera friend Kelly Jacoby shared her adoption story. She acknowledged that if her children’s birth mother had access to Adera, she may have had the resources and support to raise her own children.
That’s why family preservation is at the heart of everything we do.
Adera Daycare Provides:
- Safe and free childcare
- Freedom to work and peace of mind
- Education and loving care for children ages 1–4
- Healthy meals, clean clothes, and basic medical care
- Monthly rations of teff and oil for families
- Parenting classes, job training, and literacy support for moms
Adera partners with the local government to identify the most vulnerable families. Each family is visited by a social worker before entering the program—ensuring we serve those most in need.
Right now, 23 children in the daycare still need sponsors. Will you stand in the gap for one of these families?
