Why Does Adera Organize Short-Term Mission Trips?

Vision:
We want people from all walks of life to witness God’s work in Ethiopia. Our prayer is that each participant sees how the Gospel is transforming lives—through love, service, and community.
Participation:
Short-term missions give people the chance to live out the two greatest commandments: love God and love others. These trips are real, raw, and deeply impactful—for both the visitor and the visited.
Validation:
Our full-time staff in Ethiopia are tireless in their efforts. When teams come, they don’t just lend a hand—they bring encouragement, affirmation, and spiritual refreshment to those on the ground.
Expansion:
STM participants help grow Adera’s reach by sharing their gifts, stories, and networks. These new relationships often lead to long-term support and creative solutions.
Catalyst for Growth:
These trips are a spark. They ignite personal transformation in those who go, strengthen commitment in those who send, and bring hope to those who receive.

Adera’s First Pre-K Class is Thriving—But We Need a Building
We are thrilled to share that Adera’s first class of Pre-K students is off to an incredible start! These little learners are thriving—fully engaged and already mastering the Amplify curriculum. Their joy is contagious, and their progress is inspiring.
But as we look ahead to the fall, we face a pressing need: a building.
We are actively searching for a facility in the neighborhood to rent—one that will provide a safe, welcoming space where our students can continue to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
