We at Adera are so incredibly grateful for your unwavering support of our students and their families. Your commitment, both financially and prayerfully, is instrumental in bringing help and true hope to those we serve.
This summer, we invited you to send a “Pack-a-Pack” filled with school supplies and a few “extras” for your sponsored child, and once again, your generosity was overwhelming!
In late August, Adera delivered 187 Pack-a-Packs to our students, each packed with love, notes of encouragement, essential supplies, and delightful treats. The excitement in the air was palpable as each child received their personalized pack! While the school supplies are always appreciated, the “extras” truly brightened their day and made them feel special.
New Schools!
This summer also marked a significant milestone for our students, as they transitioned into new private schools to better support their academic growth. Though there has been much change and adjustment, we are confident these placements will enhance their success. To ensure every child receives the support they need, we have also hired additional teachers to assess and tutor our students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Our long-term vision is to see all Adera students enrolled in the Adera Academy. While we’re starting small, we’ve already enrolled 31 children in our new PreK program, with an initial focus on mastering English. At four years old, they’re absorbing new words with ease and enthusiasm, which will prepare them for success in an international curriculum and give them the confidence to excel in Ethiopia’s English-based National Exams.
We believe the greatest gifts we can offer each child are a love for the Lord, proficiency in language, and technological skills. These tools will open doors for their future, ensuring both educational and economic security. Adera is changing the future, one student at a time, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for making a tangible difference in the lives of these children.
